Focus: This workshop will focus more on the “nuts & bolts” of MH interpreting. The role of the interpreter will be discussed. Role play and group work using videotaped language samples will be used.

- Be able to differentiate between language which is dysfluent vs. psychotic
- Be able to explain how the above language is complicating the interpreting process
- Be able to demonstrate interpreted concepts of auditory hallucinations (“voices”); delusions; side effects; diagnosis
