Biography

In this hand-on workshop we will discuss some of the ways that text can be translated into American Sign Language, using the-bridging-exercises from the bilingual workbook, Movers: Deaf People who changed the world. Through group discussion, we will explore issues teachers face in the working with American Sign Language and English using real print materials. As a group, we will go through several exercises such as idioms, handshape classifiers, and time sequencing.
