Cabin Information
Due to increased complexity, advanced cabin assignments and room mate requests will not be taken this year. The ASL Weekend Committee realizes how important cabin assignments are to many campers. We hope that this new procedure will accomplish your goal while allowing the ASL Weekend Committee to focus on other important planning details.
- Cabins are on a first come, first serve basis. Groups of people can agree to share a cabin. The first person of that group to arrive will have the opportunity to pick the cabin they want and reserve beds for their preferred roommates as long as they are registered in advance. The earlier you arrive, the better chance you have at reserving the beds you want.
- If, upon arrival, most of the cabins are filled and there is not enough room for all to share a cabin together, the group will need to split up in separate cabins where beds are available.
- Information about who the beds are being reserved for must be given to the registration table upon arrival. Reserving beds for individuals who are not yet registered is prohibited.
- Quiet and non-quiet cabins will be available - also on a first come, first serve basis.
- As always, men and women can not share a cabin together unless they require special accomodations.
If you registered in advance, a bed is guaranteed for you. However, who you share a cabin with can no longer be guaranteed. We hope that by allowing representatives from a group to reserve beds for their friends, our participants will still enjoy ASL Weekend and share a cabin with their friends.
