Every year, ASL Weekend recruits hard working, motivated volunteers to assist with the on-site logistics of the event.   These Support Staff members receive a free weekend in exchange for their hard work in addition to gaining leadership experience.  The opportunity to join the workshop(s) of their choice is rarely limited.  Some of the duties involved with this position include (but not limited to):

• Registration and lodging check in and out.
• Workshop monitor/assistance
• Silent Auction set up and prize distribution.
• Selling ASL Weekend t-shirts
• Selling raffle tickets

There are 4 Support Staff positions available.  Students, interpreters and Deaf community members are welcome to apply.  If you are interested, please send a letter of interest including:

• Why you think you would make a good Support Staff person (include past relevant experiences). 
  
• How long you have been involved with signing / Deaf community
  
• Your current status in the signing community (student, interpreter, Deaf, etc...)
• One letter of recommendation from someone (non-family member) who can attest to your dependability in a volunteer setting.
