Welcome to ASL Weekend 2009

Early Bird Deadline Extended to Monday, April 27th (postmarked)!

What to Bring:

  • Items you can donate to our Silent Auction.
  • Your own blanket, sheets or sleeping bag, pillow, bath towels, and appropriate clothing such as rain jackets / ponchos for unpredictable weather. Cabins and workshop rooms will be heated as needed.
  • Dinner is on your own for Friday night, feel free to bring a brown bag and snacks or step out briefly for a bite to eat. Registration opens at 3 pm.

To provide an ASL and Deaf Culture immersion experience to its participants through:

  • A "NO VOICING ALLOWED" signing environment!

         *To Respect ALL signers and experience the world of the Deaf.

         *Enforced the minute you step on campus until you leave.

  • Insightful workshops that both Deaf and hearing participants (at varied levels) can enjoy!
  • Spending time with Deaf Camp Mentors!
  • Fun activities!
  • Entertainment!
  • PLENTY OF FUN SOCIAL TIME!

    Note: THIS WEEKEND IS ONLY FOR ADULTS WHO...

            1.  Complete ASL II or higher

      or  2.  Can COMMUNICATE INDEPENDENTLY in ASL
